After trying all kinds of installation, I finally got a complete operating system, Windows XP.

Windows CE 5.0 that comes installed is very limited
The various types of Linux that have tested or did not recognize all devices, or not working properly, or required much of the machine.

Now with Windows XP, everything is working, TouchPanel, Bluetooth, Wireless, PANEL, all USBs (with Dockstation).

If someone is fighting the machine and still be interested, I can make the image I made it today (26-MAR-2010).

Congratulations on getting it working on the 366. To avoid problems I ask that you dont post links to the image here. Instead have people PM you to obtain the link to the image.

Had you tried any of the linux images I created? All but the earliest of them offer nearly full hardware functionality including suspend. Sound recording was the only thing I didnt bother to get working.

Both the news and the how to are welcome items here. Direct links posted to image files are what we dont want to see as such things are linking to a file of questionable legality. A recipe on how to make such an image is not a bad thing as far as I am concerned. PM's requesting the links are not in public view and are also not a bad thing. Please dont remove your original post as its great news for users of windows.

How did you get bluetooth to work?  That is the only thing I haven't been able to make work, when I try to turn it on i get a message that the license check failed.

I got it installed but I don't have keyboard control on bootup. I discovers a new device but I have no keyboard or mouse to add the device.

Would love an image of this so I can ghost it to my WebDT. I'm currently playing around with mine at the moment, wanna turn it into a Internet Tablet...

Just a quick note to people here.

Iglesias is no longer a member on this site. His image was made for him by someone else and he was not capable of supporting it. Aside from that he ripped the person off who made that image for him. As this forums owner I refuse to allow such behavior. This forum was created for webdt owners to converge, share and discuss. As ripping people off is not on that list his membership has been terminated.

I just bought a second hand WEBDT366 with WinCE5.0.
Could somebody send me an instruction how to install the Win XP on the USB stick or USB Harddrive and get the tablet running from the USB device?
