How do you get BtnAgent to work? DT368

Post by webD »

I installed XP but I cannot get the BtnAgent to work. It installed the drivers but the buttons do nothing. I even defined a custom action but nothing. Any suggestions.

Check two things (Also see my other thread with snapshots)

Hardware Manager - Check for unknown devices (ACPI)

Event Viewer if you notice several ACPI errors that's good indication button manager will not work

or Button Manager should work fine

Hardware Manager - Check for unknown devices (ACPI) (I Fixed this)

Yes I have the same ACPI PCI slot error in the event log as you do.
I thought you had the BtnAgent working on yours.

No, Never got BtnAgent working on DT369.  Only way to fix is to update with working BIOS.
