NEW STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:
For the point of this tutorial the following driver letters will be used:
X: = your CD/DVD
U: = your USB stick
1. Download the "Slax-5.1.8.1.iso" ISO from one of the following locations:
- http://ftp.cc.uoc.gr/mirrors/linux/slax ... .1.8.1.iso
- http://ftp.sh.cvut.cz/MIRRORS/slax/SLAX ... .1.8.1.iso
- http://merlin.fit.vutbr.cz/mirrors/slax ... .1.8.1.iso
2. Go to the "custom.nimblex.net" website and create a minimial custom Nimblex 2007 CD.
- wait for main site to load, then click the blue ">" button
- select "Minimal" and click the ">" button
- click the CD button to generate the live cd (.ISO)
- download the generated .ISO file
3. Download the following .ZIP file
- http://www.mediafire.com/?kmzmnkozwoy
- http://lix.in/-3c7c9b (mirror)
4. Burn both the Slax and NimbleX .ISO to CDs (or DVDs) and put them on the side
5. Grab a brand new, empty USB stick (minimum 1GB).
6. Make sure the USB stick is formatted in the FAT16 or FAT32 filesystem.
7. Insert the USB stick in your computer's USB port
8. Insert the Slax5 CD you just burned in your CD/DVD tray
9. Open up a command prompt and type the following:
- X: (press enter)
- make_disk.bat U:
"Press any key" at the "Press any key prompt"
- exit (press enter)
10. The command prompt window should now be closed.
11. Open up "My Computer"
12. Open up your "U:"
13. Click EDIT then click SELECT ALL
14. Click FILE the click DELETE
15. Answer YES to delete all the files
16. Extract the "WEBDT_LINUX_CUSTOM.ZIP" file to your U:\
17. Once extracted, your U:\ should look like this:

18. Remove the Slax5 CD
19. Insert the NimbleX CD
20. Browse the X: and go to the "base" folder
21. Select/highlight the "NimbleX-2007v2.mo" file
22. Click COPY from the Edit menu
23. Navigate to your U: and go the to the "base" folder (it should be empty)
24. Click PASTE from the Edit menu
25. Wait for copy to complete
26. Go to the "My Computer" screen
27. Right click on your U:, and select "Safely Remove"
28. Safely remove your USB Stick.
29. Insert the USB Stick into your WebDT366
30. Power on your WebDT366
31. Wait for NimbleX to load (takes about 3-5 minutes)
32. Enjoy using NimbleX on your WebDT366 Tablet
NOTE:
I have built over half a dozen of these USB sticks using the steps above, and they all work perfectly. Watch the video on YouTube and you'll see me perform those very same actions.
