I am not sure we are talking about the same thing... I was referring to the video chip in the WebDT. You seem to be referring to a cell phone...
VGA means video graphics array. It is also sometimes used to generically refer to the video subsystem in a computer. The original resolution for a VGA display was 640x480 pixels. This is probably what your cell phone spec is referring to... I would consider it a fairly low resolution for a still camera, but usable for a video camera...
