Hello to all WebDT366 forum users!
This is my first post here, but before that I've read a lot, but not all
My WebDT366 with WinCE 5.0 works fine for me with only one significant and on less important exception.
Significant one is that so far I failed with USB to Serial adapter installation.
What I've tried is FTDI chip (FT232AM) based device and Windows CE 4.2-5.2 for x86 (32bit) driver from vendor web site:
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm
I have to check with newer model based on FT232BM chip which is stated in driver references (FT232AM is not) - hopefully it will work.
I'll let you know results.
I have question if someone succeeded with this kind of adapter installation (no matter which model and which chipset) and how he did this?
Second issue refers to WiFi adapter which - I suppose - Cisco 350 is.
It doesn't support WPA encryption what forces me to re-configure my WiFi access point.
Does anybody know how to upgrade if possible?
Thank you in advance for any feedback - also negative.

Re: USB to Serial and WiFi card
I found solution for the first issue.
PL2303 Prolific chipset based adapter works - just plug-and-play!
There is embeded driver on my WebDT for this model. It creates USB to serial cable device on COM2 port.
Second issue still open and waiting for your suport.

XP Pro may also solve your problems. Follow the links posted here re: MicorXP or make your own mini-XP for your tablet with NLITE. These tablets run nicely with a trimmed down XP Pro or even XP Embedded.
I have most all drivers if you need them. -Dave

Thank's Dave!
I've read here about different OS manipulations, but I would like to avoid violation of legality in this case, so I'll stay rather with embeded WinCE.
I've noted your proposal of drivers support and maybe when I'll buy licence for WinXP then ask you for them.
