Reset Button function?

Has anyone used the reset button, located on the back? It is hidden behind a round sticker.

I was curious what type of a reset does it perform.

Some of the older models require you to use the reset button to boot, as it is for "cold booting".
Thanks, that saves me from digging out a screwdriver and yanking the battery.

Thanks for pointing out it's existence. I tampered w/ the BIOS settings regarding video, and could only get the device to white screen.

The good news is - this magical button resets CMOS to default settings. Thanks for pointing it out volkswagner
