Webdt 366 MicroWin Xp installation/ keyboard question

Post by Robbe »

Hello everyone,
I've recently brought a used webdt and now i am trying to install micro winxp.
This is what I am using:
MicroWinXp 0.82 CD + External DVD Rom + Powered Usb Hub + Logitech USB Keyboard

Everything went smooth untill i had to choose where to install windows, my keyboard simply does nothing after the driver installation part.
After researching I am thinking its usb legancy support but how do I enable it?
I found Boot PM but with this option I only get curruptions while driver installation.

Greetings Rob

MicroXP has pretty much all and any drivers stripped from it. This is what you get for using it. Install USB HID Keyboard Generic drivers and hope it works.

If you need someone to IDE mod your DT366 toss me a PM.

Common problem - you have too much load on the USB port.  Use a powered USB port when you have a lot plugged in.

You could also pull the keyboard once you get the installation going.  When you come to place that needs input, plug the keyboard in and then unplug until needed again.

Good luck,  -Dave
