Would anyone like a ghost image of MicroXP for WebDT 366?

I'm willing to provide a ghost image of MicroXP on the WebDT 366 that I prepared myself, that has about 200-220MB Free Space on C: Drive, and runs like the wind (until you start installing apps).

Trust me, I'm not a person that would rip people off. I honestly prepared the image by myself, and I can say that it's 100% working along with some hacks that I setup (no page file, better performance, etc).

It's up to quotaholic to decide if I should link to the image directly, but if you'd like a image, pop me a message and I'll send you a link to it.

Did you manage to execute suspend or hibernation ? I know that I asked this question before but maybe something has changed.

I haven't been able to get suspend to work, I think a driver is causing XP to not go to sleep. Hiberation doesn't seem to come up as an option, maybe the BIOS doesn't support it (it requires a APM bios or ACPI bios...)

This ghost image that I'm currently creating now has got USB Drivers, Internet Explorer 6 Lite (iexplore.exe, Crash Detection app & resource DLL), latest cisco WLAN driver & app, sound, video driver (better than stock MicroXP driver) and all the accessories. Like I said, it runs okay, but will be bogged down when doing stuff. Internet Explorer loads pages fine, just don't go on pages that make heavy use of graphics or you will experience laaaaaaaaaaaagggggg.

On Screen Keyboard is hotkey 1, Internet Explorer is hotkey 2, hotkey 3, 4 and the side hotkey don't work (but can be configured to work in the button panel app). Oval key is DPad (up down left right, etc).

Start Menu is up the top of the screen, as my screen is flaky. Will post screenshots soon.

I've achieved similar results. I'm using Opera instead of IE. Only issue missing is suspend (I can live without hibernation). I agree with you that something is wrong with one of the drivers which is not allowing suspend -but which one?

Due to demand, I am uploading it to my website's server, and you will be able to download it, when complete from the link below:

http://data.coburndomain.net/webdt/Wind ... oburnXP.7z (99.7MB compressed using 7zip on Ultra Setting)

What works:
Core MicroXP Installation, Internet Explorer 6 Lite, BlueTooth (needs app to utilize it), Cisco WiFi (a bit flaky though using the Windows wizard UI prompt thing), use the Cisco connection software for best results), Audio (GEODE GX2 WDM), Video (AMD GEODE VGA Adapter GX2), USB 1.1, PCMCIA Slot. CF Card has drivers installed, but I haven't tested a CF Card in it.  :-\

Note: I moved the task bar to the top of the screen due to my touch screen being a PITA (Pain in the arse), you can move it 'round if you want.

Google Chrome really stresses the WebDT out... and also consumes 100MB for it's data and cache!  :o

This is a direct ghost disk to image clone, so I erased my files off the WebDT. If you see anything of mine (not that you would), please delete it. IT WILL NOT BE OF USE TO YOU.

!!! Make sure you restore it using Ghost via Restore Disk From Image, not Restore Partition from Image, as that will fail. !!!

Due to the touch screen having issues with being calibrated, I'm now using mine as a Linux Workstation with Keyboard & Mouse. :)

If you liked my work, please feel free to donate (in my sig) - it's optional, I'm a hacker by nature and I'm really happy that I could be of some use to the WebDT Community. May the WebDT live on! :)

Odd... It worked for me. I did choose the "Fast" compression setting... Unless my USB is flaky.

Also, did you use 7Zip to decompress the file?

I used Ghost 8.5 Corp (torrented  :P) (Sorry, but I had to!  ::))

I do believe I used 7Zip 9.10, but that was for x64 only... Hmm...
