Hi,

I have build XPE image but i have problem with copying it up to webdt :( i cant format drive on to ntfs , just copying it on FAT32 will not work. I have described my problem about DVD drive few months ago. Now i am trying to boot it up form pendrive and it work perferectly i had linux distro on webdt earlier. The problem is that i can not format drive in to NTFS under clear DOS. My question is , how to do it without booting from CD i know that embedded xp have full range of aplication on the first bootable cd but i cant boot it up :(.
Or maybe there is a way to convert this first CD to USB pendrive ?

Check in the FAQ and The Collective parts of the forum. DOS does not support NTFS. You shouldnt be using NTFS on a FlashROM or Compact Flash card anyways, it will damage it over time. Look into Journalized File Systems sometime, and look into what NAND Flash Wear is.

Watch BSoD episode 30, the segment I did on USB Multiboot: http://www.bsodtv.org/node/46

have you changed the jumper settings on the drive from slave to master?
