BIOS

Have a tip or tweak that worked for you? This is the place to share it. In particular allocatable memory, flash card slot limitations and speeds as well as how to set up a toggle for outdoor viewable video.

How do you update your bios without having an operating system? I need to update my bios, but the only operating system I have access to is a usb version of ubuntu. I want to update my bios, how do I do it with a usb key? I dont yet have a working dvd drive, so it has to be usb, thanks for your help!

The latest BIOS version for your hardware board level is usually the one in your tablet.

Are you sure you want to update the BIOS or do you mean the OS?

If it's really the WEBDT BIOS that you want to update then it should be done by DT Research directly or an authorized WEBDT service shop. The flash software only checks for a match of the BIOS chip so it is possible to flash a BIOS that will not work with your model. If that happens then you have a doorstop.
