I found a copy of a linux distro that has Enlightenment as the desktop manager. Coincidentally, it is running Puppy 431 in it as well.

You can find it at www.macpup.org. I will be installing a copy on one of my tablets this week and I will keep you updated as to how it goes.

I also need to run festival on my tablet, so I hope to get that working as well.

I tested MacPup a week ago. Everything went very well up to the point when I tried to calibrate the touchscreen. Oddly enough the only points it would recognize were in an inch or so from the edges. Almost like it was looking for a 640x480 screen. It was nice to look at though. Seemed to have a little better response than puppy with jwm however it was not all that fast either. Menu navigation and dialog windows had some lag.
