Lets list out our favorite apps for Linux on a WebDT

Post by volkswagner »

I am sure we can all come up with a couple of our favorite apps.

I'd like to start with Cellwriter.    Handwriting recognition.  You calibrate it with your own handwriting!  It even has a built in virtual keyboard!

I have posted a few videos...sorry for the crappy quality, but you'll get the idea.

I have had no issue with focus.  Best I can say is it just always works.  I open CellWriter and it always stays on top.  I select a field or window where I want the text input, then start writing in the cells.  I select enter within the cellwriter app, and it pastes my input.

The only issue I can mention is the minimize function.  When I try to minimize the cellwriter window, it does minimize, but it does not show up on my task bar.  I just hit the "iconify-desktop" to bring it back.
