Re: Building linux kernel for DT366
I have not compiled kernel.
You need the Atlas button driver. I believe this get built into the kernel. This is really beyond my skill set.
The touch screen is Penmount 9000. You can download drivers from penmount.com.
The issue with Penmount, is the Kernel and x-server versions must match the driver version. This can be very limiting when rolling your own.
I am currently building a matrix from the readme.txt files included with various Penmount driver files.
I will attach what I have so far.
Distro-PM version Kernel Xorg-X-Server-Version
Ubuntu 9.10-V2.4.4 2.6.31-14-generic 1.6.4
Ubuntu 9.04-V2.4.1 2.6.28-11-generic 1.6.0
Ubuntu 8.10-V2.4.1 2.6.27-7-generic 1.5.2
Ubuntu 8.04-V2.2.5 2.6.24-16-generic 1.4.0.90
Debian 5-V2.2.5 2.6.26-1-686 1.4.2
Debian-4-V2.1 2.6.18-5-686 X.Org 7.1.1 X-server info not offered need to cross ref with X.com
Debian 3.1-V1.0 ? ?

Nothing is ever easy, but if it is difficult you must be doing it wrong.
