Puppy on the 360 All working

Post by Taltos »

I just put Matts puppy .img forum/viewtopic.php?t=9 on to the dt360 worked great. kept it as a usb boot, I had to do the "pmedia=ataflash" to "pmedia=usbflash" thing plus "pfix=copy" to "pfix=ram" to get an xscreen
then i used gparted on my laptop to expand his 500meg image a little more U can compile from source with puppy I found out but you have to add the devx_431.sfs to your root dir to to get the make command to work. I wanted to compile the vt-6656 driver.... turns out someone allready did. and a 6655 driver

About halfway down is a link.
I added a partition to my usb key along with the expanded puppy partition so i could move files around. So just dumped the .pet onto it rebooted into puppy one click for the .pet package, brought up network wizard, load module it shows up in the list as vntusb (6655 might show up diff) auto configured and was up and running.

OK, so there that last link for pidgin is for Puppy and not for ubuntu right?

The reason im running Wary puppy is that i found an old P3 kicking around and wanted to give it some more life

EDIT: Does pidgin support the video chat? Only one way receiving the vid is perfect. Dont need to send any.
