IDE chip that will work... Maybe?

Post by ramwar »

Hi all i have been reading previous posts that talk about the imposibility to
fit regualr ide SSD disks on the inside IDE port.

I found this
It kind of looks very similar to the pictures of the flash chips some of you have been putting up.

Best thing to do is buy one, try it out and report back. We know that the height of the ide connector is half height so that will hopefully narrow things down to a few. To be honest once I found a source for ones that work I stopped looking. If you dont want to gamble pm fellow member tkmedia and ask for a size vs price reference.

That site was pretty informative. All that's missing are prices and if they will sell one at a time.

I've been in contact with them and they will not sell the 3.3V DOMs.Even if their minimum order of 10 quantity is met.
Nuts!
