How to add a serial port on DT366 or DT360?

Post by sunnyvoip »

I was asked this serial question many times but I can't find the answer myself. Is there a way to add a serial port in DT366 (other than USB->serial adapter)?

I have one of these cables for my PC, but I just tried it in my 366 (XPe). It recognizes the device, but needs the drivers. Guessing I could download them, but I just need to find them first.

So it's probably possible to get this cable. I have this exact one.

Good lord thats an expensive solution! You could use a less expensive PCMCIA or USB to serial bridge.

I suspect that JP1 on the top right is a serial port, but do not quote me on ANY of this!
