Re: x266 transcend flash card
Quota,
Bored and started rereading some posts. Ran across this one and as I was reading it I was wondering: If the CF slot is settable in the BIOS then the BIOS can see it on boot. If it can see it and set it, then why can't we boot from it?
Just a thought from an unqualified newbie.

Re: Batteries
Booted up Ubuntu on the external CD with the internal battery out. Got the same result when I pulled the AC - she shut right down.

Windows installation question
I know Windows likes to boot off of the first partition and the DT will not boot from the CF card. But would it be possible to install Windows to the CF card and then use a boot agent on the harddrive to boot it. If so what do you recommend for a boot agent. I have a copy of PQ BootMagic here. Would...

Re: Batteries
Just tried another test. Took the internal battery out, the unit will not boot. Plugged it in and it booted to Windows. In control panel Power properties sees one battery 100% charge. Pull the plug and the unit goes dead???? Sure hope it's not hardware related as I want to use this on the battery in...

Kickstand wanted
Does anybody have a kickstand for the DT366 they would be willing to part with super cheap. I want to build some type of mounting device to hold the 366 on the yoke of my plane to use with GPS software.
PM me if you do.

Re: Batteries
I see a bunch of people have read this. Is anybody else having trouble with their external battery? Could it be a Windows thing? There are a couple of you guys running MicroXP out there, do both your batteries work right? Maybe I'll try one of the linux distros and see if that works better. That way...

Batteries !!!!! SOLVED !!!!! hardware issue.
I bought a brand new external battery for my 366. I put it on and charged it all night. So how surprised was I when the computer shut down 10 minutes after I boot it up! Windows XP recognizes the external battery and tells me that it is 100% charged. But when the internal battery runs down with 96% ...
