Re: Openwrt
With the troubles we have had with penmount I would highly doubt Open-WRT would work out too well.

Re: Connect CF-card to IDE2 JHDD2
The Asus EEE is vastly different from the WebDT hardware. This is what I did: Removed the Compact Flash Header (pretty much ruined it in the process). Obtained a REPLACEMENT Compact flash header, installed it to JHDD2 Inserted Compact Flash Card Destoryed said Compact Flash Card It may be possible ...

Re: Connect CF-card to IDE2 JHDD2
Thats one of the images from my documentation, you cant hook a CF header up to HDD2. I did, and it fried my CF Card. Dont bother. Plus to make it fit you need to take the onboard CF card header off the motherboard, and that itself is very risky. Unless you know how to do SMD solder rework, I wouldnt...

Re: ACC-006-07B (10) Available
If they are in working condition I would take a few if the price is right. I can talk to a few of my local buddies that have DT366's if they would be interested as well.

Re: DT368 Bios
I do some BIOS re/flash using UNIFLASH. Identify the BIOS chip part number, chances being I can reflash it with hardware I have in my lab. If it comes to a worst case scenario, contact me (and have a backup file of the BIOS) and I can reflash it. Or if you can find an alternate BIOS you want to use ...

Re: [Photo] How to add 8G flash on WEBDT Tablet
Yes, I have been keeping up with everything done here. I like to consider myself on the frontline of (useful) hardware hacks. One of the main things I have noticed is a lot of the early people to make posts here were decidedly doing so for the sheer fact of marketing and boosting their sales. $118 f...

Re: [Photo] How to add 8G flash on WEBDT Tablet
After extensive work with the WebDT 366, I call Bullshit on that pic. I honestly think SunnyVOIP slapped a photo together just to boost up his sales. Im currently working on a real solution, and believe me its not as simple as just buying some gender benders off ebay and slapping it together. Until ...

Re: IDE-CF MOD
Not anymore, the pins in the header on the cable broke. I am working on a PCB design that should be more reliable. I think I might have found a native connector we can use to make an adapter or gender bender. More info on this as it unfolds.

Re: IDE-CF MOD
Ive done a similar mod using a 44 pin IDE cable. Im still waiting for my 44 pin to CF adapter, when it comes in expect some info from me. I decided to benchmark a 44 pin IDE to SD adapter, I keep getting IRQ timeouts. Not sure if I should blame the mod, my cable, or the SD IDE adapter. The BIOS dete...

Re: WebDT 366 GX Internal Documentation
Im still doing what I do best, hardware stuffs.
Just found out the TDK GBDriver chip can only address a max of 4GB total. I Swapped out my 512MB Chip with a 1GB one, but the chip was damaged and only reported as 54MB.
More to report later...
Many thanks to TKMedia for the spare 512MB board!

Turn off all forms of animations, cursor shadows, themes, and other graphical embellishments. Disable restore points, drive indexing, and enhanced search. DO some registry tweaks to enable Enhanced Write Filtering (EWF), and take your Page File down to zero. Although the pagefile will make the unit ...

Re: DT366 - auto car charger
Thats a 42W max power draw. 12V @ 3.5A max output. You can get an adapter that goes over that amperage. The Amperage rating is telling you the max that can be safely drawn from the PSU before it might crap out. Make sure you have the head of the physical connector going into the DT's polarity is cor...
