The Primary Master HDD connector leading into the FlashROM board is a typical 2mm 44 pin IDE pinout, although the header is NOT typical. If you want to use it, it must be replaced on the board.

Re: How to add a serial port on DT366 or DT360?
Good lord thats an expensive solution! You could use a less expensive PCMCIA or USB to serial bridge.
I suspect that JP1 on the top right is a serial port, but do not quote me on ANY of this!

Re: Batteries
The batteries in the WebDT are not smart. They are plain cells. There is no ACPI or I2C charge information going to the host OS. There is really no way for the OS to tell how much of a charge remains, as there is no Smart battery circuitry inside any of them. The DT can only take a best guess at how...

Recommended Software for XP installs
A lot of us are running Windows XP on our tablets, but there isnt much space with only 512MB of Flashrom. If you have any good software advice, post it here. Please keep it freeware or open source, and make sure if its going to try and install pointless toolbars and addons, let us know beforehand. E...

Re: formating internal drive to NTFS
Check in the FAQ and The Collective parts of the forum. DOS does not support NTFS. You shouldnt be using NTFS on a FlashROM or Compact Flash card anyways, it will damage it over time. Look into Journalized File Systems sometime, and look into what NAND Flash Wear is. Watch BSoD episode 30, the segme...

Re: Connect CF-card to IDE2 JHDD2
Interesting find. I assumed this was an IDE header, but I havent been able to get a pinout for it. Do you know of any headers that will fit on the PCB and give the proper ZIF connection for a 1.8" HDD? I have a couple of 1.8" drives here, but I am not going to blindly hook a 30GB drive to...

Dock Pinouts?
Does anyone have an archive copy of the WebDT 366 Dock Pinouts? Seems when Darkcirca left she deleted her posts on the subject as well.

Re: iPod/Zune HDD hack
Look in the hardware section for my post about installing alternate drives. The 1.8" IDE Drives take up too much amperage, they wont run. Im working on a solution. now.
